Frank’s most recent solo project is the "Frank Paco’s Art Ensemble", for which he is currently recording his second album.
His original compositions feature some of the most prominent artists he has worked with to date, such as Andy Narrel, Jimmy Dludlu, Allou April to name a few.
The Art Ensemble has launch its first concert at Nassau Centre in August 2011 where the band enjoyed a standing ovation in the coversations concert series.
This concert was followed by a performance at the V & A Waterfront Amphitheatre and the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.
The music can be described as Nu-World Jazz. An amalgamation of Jazz tones with its African roots from East to West.
With high-energy rhythmic pulses and enchanting melodies, Art ensemble paints a musical landscape which offers a unique live experience.
Othe events and venues that hosted the band are: The World Bank Forum, Western Cape Government, Nassau Centre, Straight No Chaser, The Chairmans, Seaman's Corner, UKZN Centre for Jazz (Durban), Peter Cellars, Boo Radleys, Rainbow room, The Crypt and Kaleidoscope to name but a few.
